But from the beginning of creation, ‘God made them male and female. The Sacrament of Matrimony

The Sacrament of Matrimony is administered by a baptized man and a baptized woman by the exchange of vows. Marriage is ordered towards the procreation of new life, and the love and sanctity of the spouses, and is defined by its call to permanence and fidelity. The sacrament offers the graces of sanctification, unity, and love.

Marriage at St. Rosalie’s

If you would like to be married at St. Rosalie’s parish, please contact the parish office. Please do not book a venue until you have contacted the parish and arranged for a date. Due to the great dignity and importance of the sacrament of marriage, there are a few means of preparation which the Church provides to assist an engaged couple. They are

  • Pre-Nuptial Investigation (brief meeting with priest/deacon)
  • Pre-Cana (marriage preparation course)
